Tamiami Plaza Center Inc. has proposed a new Candlewood Suites hotel in Miami.
The application, filed last week with the Miami-Dade County Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources' Development Services Division, shows a five-story, 103-room hotel that would be built on a 1.82-acre parcel of land at the southwest corner of S.W. 136th St. (Howard Drive), and S.W. 139th Court. According to the proposed site plan, the hotel would have 77 parking spaces. DLW Architects in Dunedin designed the renderings for the hotel. Tamiami Plaza Center, led by Ernesto R. Greco, owns the parcels of land on which the project would be developed if approved, Miami-Dade County property records show.
